SMALL WORLDS, BIG DATA
The Internet of Things is emerging: a world where technology takes the form of connected objects interfering with our daily lives. These objects will penetrate our private spaces, and collect data in areas of our lives that were previously unexplored. This trend in the collection of personal data leads to new uses, and new questions about our relationship to technology. How will we interact with these objects? What’s their impact on our lives? Are we building a world where our actions will be standardized and decisions delegated to machines? Will we lose our autonomy?
